Kris Whalan

Business Development & Account Manager

About Me

I’m born and bred Melbournit with a deep appreciation for the city's vibrant culture and diverse offerings. My interests include travelling, immersing myself in music, and embracing new experiences. I am passionate about art in all forms, photography, drawing, design and live performances. I am happily married to Eliza and we share my life our home with our beloved cat named Jarvi, inspired by the character from the Iron Man. I've had her since she was a kitten but she has a strong tendency to display dog behaviour with her ability to fetch!

My Role at PTP

As an Account and Business Development Manager at PTP, I am dedicated to fostering strong relationships with our valued clients and establish new bonds with potential clients specifically within technology and testing. My primary objective is to ensure an exceptional client experience from inception. I am committed to understanding the unique needs of each client, whether it's a complex project or an innovative idea. My expertise lies in identifying the most effective solutions and providing comprehensive support that addresses all the required needs.

My Experience Prior to PTP

I hold extensive experience as an Account Manager in the consulting industry, where I have developed a strong skillset and interest in the technology sector. I have a very natural ‘two ears, one mouth approach’ to problem solving: allowing my clients to talk and I in turn truly listen. My passion is exceptional customer service and I deliver this through innovative solutions that really answer the problems that clients need resolving.

My perfect day away from the office

A perfect day for me, outside of the office, would be spending quality time with my wife and cat. Also seeing my friends and family where possible. I do like to escape to my different online old school games including Nintendo 64 or playing a Jedi or upgrading weapons to take on a troll. This provides me with true escapism and allows my imagination to really go wild.

There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no chaos; there is harmony..
